The main Belupo activity, who at the end of 2009. was celebrating his 38rd anniversary, is the production and selling of pharmaceutical preparations and cosmetic products, and is organised as  joint-stock company with HQ in Koprivnica.

With it's organisation and manner of work the company is adapting to the recent business transactions in domestic and foreign market.

By the continuous work-out of strategic development and export activities, continuous building of security system and the quality control, permanent expert improvement of it's employees and investing in the capacities and programmes, Belupo is creating enviable position of one of the leading drug producers in middle and south-east Europe.

Belupo develops, improves and produces drugs on recipes, non-recipe products (non-recipe drugs, herbal and dietetic products) cosmetics and products for hygiene. In the new Belupo plant in Koprivnica there are development facilities built according to the standards of good laboratory praxis, including space for the activity of development of packing material, analysis and testing of stability as well as the development of the technology according to the good manufacturer's praxis. Viewing the fact that Belupo is a generic drug factory, one needs a well-equipped area and highly educated staff who are in continuo included in a variety of educational types and can in an optimal time-period compose an adequate medical product.

With our own program, we produce and pack medicine licensed by world famous producers.
The formulation of a new drug begins in formulation laboratories where we prepare samples that undergo all necessary testing, first in formulate and later on in analytic laboratories.

Except for laboratory facilities we have a pilot-plant for crude and semi-crude pharmaceutical shapes that has the capacity of 10% of industrial scale of the new factory for crude drugs in Koprivnica.

In the pilot-plant we optimise the process and establish the recipe of the product that are later on packed in the primary package and undergo analytic testing and the testing of stability.

In order that our products would find a safe way to the customers, Belupo has established a highly expert Development team that applies the latest methods that are used in the world. The majority of work is being done in the factory itself. In solving complex problems we use the service of respectful domestic and foreign institutions.
